Kuda transcription/translation → agent credits conversion
Date: 2026-09-21 (US evening) / 2026-09-22 UTC
Org: US kuda-pilot (Rails org 25, API2 org 019e080b-c180-795a-993d-87b8183ad659)
Grant customer: cmqoip7l20002l5040s1dxq1w
Contract end: 2027-01-12
Decision
Francis Madubuogu (Kuda) recommended Option A — convert the full projected excess transcription and translation allowance into agent credits as a single release through contract end. Elizabeth Ekanem approved. Gideon was asked to process.
| Category | Units converted | Rate | Agent credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Transcriptions | 104,287 | 20 credits / unit ($1,800 / 90,000) | 2,085,740 |
| Translations | 11,371 | 50 credits / unit ($450 / 9,000) | 568,550 |
| Total | 2,654,290 |
Kuda’s projected use to Jan 12 (with 2% buffer) was 395,713 transcriptions / 28,629 translations against 500,000 / 40,000 allowances.
Production changes
1. Pause automated workflows (before Grant top-up)
Paused all 14 active api2.workflows for the Kuda API2 org so scheduled/triggered agents would not burn agent credits during cutover. 0 active workflows remained.
Paused names included both Emerging Issues monitors, Bulk Assignment Agent, Intercom updaters, QA/report agents, and Weekly customer insights digest generation. Previously paused workflows were left paused.
2. Grant top-up
Added 2,654,290 agent credits on Grant for customer cmqoip7l20002l5040s1dxq1w, valid through 2027-01-12.
3. Rails allowance debit
Guarded transaction on public.credits for organization_id = 25:
| Credit id | Type | Quantity before | Quantity after | Used (unchanged) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 28 | transcription | 500,000 | 395,713 | 267,556 |
| 27 | translation | 40,000 | 28,629 | 19,265 |
Evaluation credit 26 (120,528) was not changed.
